It emphasizes the need to let go of self-reliance, seek God's grace, and allow His image to be reflected in our lives through prayer and staying in His presence. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ CONTENT ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Wonderful to me, I'll never know how much it costs to see my sin upon that cross. I'll never know just how much it costs to see my sin upon that cross. So here I am to worship, here I am to bow down, here I am to say that you're my God. You're altogether worthy, altogether lovely, altogether wonderful to me. Jesus, what a wonder you are. You are so gentle, so pure and so kind. You shine like the morning star. Jesus, what a wonder you are. So open my eyes, Lord. I want to see Jesus, to reach out and touch Him, to say that I love Him. Open my ears, Lord, and help me to listen. Open my eyes, Lord, I want to see Jesus. Oh, to be like Thee, Oh, to be like Thee, blessed Redeemer, so pure as Thou art. So come in Thy fullness, Lord, come in Thy sweetness, and stamp Thine own image deep on my heart. Spirit of the living God, fall fresh on me. Spirit of the living God, fall fresh on me. And break me, melt me, mold me, mold me, and fill me. Spirit of the living God, fall fresh on me. And draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord, to the cross where Thou hast died. Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord, to Thy precious bleeding side. And consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord, by the power of Thy grace divine. Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope, and my will be lost in Thine. Just draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord, to the cross where Thou hast died. Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord, to Thy precious bleeding side. I've wandered far away from God, but now I'm coming home. The path of sin, no more to trod. Lord, I'm coming home. Jesus, I'm coming home, coming home. Never more to roam. Oh, but while I'm on the road, Lord, I'm coming home. Sometimes life seems like words and music that can't quite become a song. So we cry inside and we try again as we wonder where we went wrong. And at the end of ourselves, when we turn to the Lord, like we've done a time or two before, we find His truth is the same as it's always been. We never will need more, cause it's not in trying, but in trusting. It's not in running, it's in resting. It's not in wandering, it's in praying that we find the strength of the Lord. Cause He's all we need for our every need, so we never need be alone. But He'll let us go if we choose to, to live life on our own. And the only good that will ever be said of the pain we'll find ourselves in is they are places to gain the wisdom to say I'll never leave you again. It's not in trying, but in trusting. It's not in running, it's in resting. It's not in wandering, but in praying that we find the strength of the Lord. So even now, Lord, even now, Lord, send us love, send us power, send us grace. Even now, Lord, oh, right now, Lord, let the warmth of your presence fill this place. Cause in your presence, in your presence, there is peace, sweet peace. In your presence, in your presence, there is peace. So I will linger, I will stay in your presence day by day till your likeness may be seen in me. And in your presence, in your presence, there is fullness of joy. In your presence, in your presence, there is fullness of joy. So I will linger, I will stay in your presence day by day till your likeness may be seen in me. ======================================================================== Video: https://sermonindex2.b-cdn.net/oER_gTFbcxw.mp4 Source: https://sermonindex.net/speakers/alan-martin/worship-here-i-am-to-worship-open-my-eyes/ ========================================================================
