I remember when I first got saved, you know, you embrace a lot of viewpoints. I embraced some viewpoints in college and from friends and other things. I just remember sitting, I used to work radar back when I first got saved. Now we call it radar, I don't know what you call it today, but it's a speed gun kind of thing, you know. And when it rained it didn't work, so I would pray for rain, and thank God that year it rained a lot. And when it would just have parked behind a building and I would open my Bible and I would weep, because it was washing me. It talks in the Bible about the washing of the water of God's Word. It was washing away old thoughts and old attitudes and old struggles and giving me hope for the future, even for areas in my own life where there still needed to be victories. One was, as I was reading the Word of God, it was just washing all of these things away. The entrance of your words gives light. ======================================================================== Video: https://sermonindex2.b-cdn.net/J170Aftxz8w.mp4 Source: https://sermonindex.net/speakers/carter-conlon/gods-word-washes-us-clean/ ========================================================================
