He emphasizes the importance of being watchful and prepared for the Lord's return, as no one knows the exact day or hour. The preacher also highlights the significance of showing love and compassion to others, as Jesus identifies himself with the needy and marginalized. He concludes by reminding the audience that those who live according to God's commandments and demonstrate love towards others will receive eternal blessings in the kingdom of heaven. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ CONTENT ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tell us, when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age? You will hear of wars, and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, and earthquakes, in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. But he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world, as a testimony to all nations. And then the end will come. Immediately after the distress of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light. The stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time, the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power, and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather as elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark. And they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field. One will be taken, and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill. One will be taken, and the other left. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. That first night when I met my friends Mark and Jonas, Jonas asked me, if I were to run out in the middle of the road and get hit by a car, would I go to heaven? Well, I didn't know. So not only am I going to a school of ministry, but now I know I'm going to heaven. Lord, I love you with all of my heart. And I thank you for reaching down and saving me from the pits of hell. And I will live for you the rest of my life. Thank you, Jesus. When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him. And He will separate the people one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on His left. Then the King will say to those on His right, You are blessed by my Father, take your inheritance for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me in. I needed clothes, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you looked after me. I was in prison, and you came to visit me. Then the righteous will answer Him, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in? Or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison? And go to visit you? The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me. Then, He will say to those on His left, Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry, and you gave me nothing to eat. And I was thirsty, and you gave me nothing to drink. I was a stranger, and you did not invite me in. I needed clothes, and you did not clothe me. I was sick and in prison, and you did not invite me in. You did not look after me. They also will answer, Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or needing clothes, or sick, or in prison, and did not help you? He will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me. Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life. I tell you the truth. ======================================================================== Audio: https://sermonindex1.b-cdn.net/3/SID3242.mp3 Source: https://sermonindex.net/speakers/compilations/freedom-cd-track-8-compilation/ ========================================================================
