We are here in our lives here and we're constantly looking at doing
stuff and getting stuff done and we forget to sit at Jesus' feet and
just listen to Him. We forget to sit there. And this is why I believe we
have anxiety.

This is why I believe we have fear. This is why we have burdens, is
because we can't rest. And the number one thing that produces unrest in
a person's life is the love of money, is the desire for more, is getting
ahead.

And you can get your eyes off of Jesus real quick onto these things,
this passing pleasure, this futile gold, this futile silver, this thing
that can protect you and your family. You can get your eyes off of
Christ and you can miss what God has for you on a day-to-day basis
because you're sitting there trying to get ahead. You're trying to
figure out your life.

No, my friends, we need to put the Lord first. He has to be first in our
hearts. He has to be first in our lives.
