Thank you for that question and it's a very very good message and there
might be many many different answers but from my perspective and I have
come from the background of big business and I used to be in charge, it
used to be my will, it used to be my way, it used to be my direction, it
used to be my plans, it was all about me and I've learned in the
meantime that there's a great great world out there and we can only see
a part of it. We see perhaps with our eyes what we can perceive with our
eyes but there's a spirit world that Ephesians 6 talks about. We wrestle
not just with flesh and blood but with principalities and powers of the
dark and so in our thought life even as Peter was affected, Christians
are often affected by thoughts from the evil one, from the devil, from
demons and they will pursue those thoughts thinking that they're good,
that the thoughts are from themselves or even from God and they're
deceived and so they will pursue a way of self-righteousness, of pride,
of looking for the best for themselves and I have learned perhaps in the
meantime that my self-sufficiency is a horror to God and he said in
Jeremiah that the man that relies on his own strength, relies on his own
arm, is cursed, cursed and I think the most important from my
perspective that I see missing in the church is relying upon higher help
from the Lord Jesus Christ in everyday life, in every question, in every
situation that needs to be dealt with and if he's asked for help in the
matter, he will answer and he will do and he also says in the word, you
have not because you ask not and Jesus and the Father, they don't always
automatically provide for everything that we need.

He wants us to have a dependence on him. He wants to love us in turn. He
wants us to love him and to realize and so time and again I can see in
my own life when I ask for his help, a miracle happens and for anyone
who lives a Christian life without asking God for help in daily life, I
don't just mean when you're in trouble, I mean in your daily walk with
him, then you will see miracles upon miracles upon miracles.

So do that and see that God is alive and well in this world. Jesus his
son is alive and he will do. Thank you.
