I'm going to talk about a weighty issue today, something you've probably thought about a lot I would imagine. I want to just start by making a bold statement. A pre-tribulation rapture, there isn't one. That's my bold statement. Now I could spend an hour explaining to you why there is no pre- tribulation rapture, but if you believe in a pre-tribulation rapture then this is not the message for you. But I'm simply going to read from the word. And I may do a small video on why I don't believe in a pre-tribulation rapture. But anyway, if we go to the scriptures, it's Revelation 13 and verse 7. I'll read from there. It was granted to him. Now let's start at verse 6. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy, he who the beast, the beast of the tribulation period, he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God. To blaspheme his name, his tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given to him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. And all who dwell on the earth will worship him. Those whose names have not been written in the book of life, in the book of life of the lamb slain from the foundations of the world. This is a great tribulation period, brothers and sisters, when he makes war against the saints and he overcomes them for a time, for a period. Now what's the kind of saints that he overcomes a beast? If we go back to the chapter 12, verse 11, very well-known scripture. And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony. And usually you've heard that before, that we overcome him by the blood of the lamb and the word of the testimony, but really we always miss out the last sentence for some reason. Well, I know, I think I know why the reason is, but. And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives unto death. You see, these are the saints in the tribulation period. In fact, the saints period do not love their lives unto death. They overcome by the blood of the lamb, of course, and by the word of their testimony. We believe in the heart, we confess with our mouth unto salvation. That's what overcomes the enemy. And we love not our lives unto death, meaning that we will stand upon this truth. And so when he makes war against the saints in Revelation 13, when he makes war against the saints, then he'll kill them. And it will seem like he's overcome them. And the ones who refuse to stand, obviously their names are not written in the book of life of the lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world. Now, what would relate to these two scriptures and, let's see, the subject that we're talking about. I think you know, if you know the scriptures well, you'll know Matthew 24. Let's go back. Let's go back to Matthew 24. There you go. And read from, let's see, let's read from verse 4. So Matthew 24, verse 4. Now, you know, this chapter starts out with the apostles asking the Lord the signs of the time, the end times, what will it be like? And so Jesus simply answers the question. And in verse 4 he says, take heed that no one deceives you. Now, you know, when Jesus says that, you better take heed because there's great deception, there's a great possibility for deception. We know the other scripture alludes to this, that if it were possible, even the elect would be deceived, this great delusion. So Jesus says, take heed that no one deceives you, for many will come in my name, saying I am the Christ, and will deceive many, and you will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that you are not troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet, for nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and pestilence and earthquakes in various places, and these are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you. See how that relates to Revelation 13. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake. And then many will be offended and will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many, and because lawlessness abounds, the love of many will grow cold, but he who endures to the end shall be saved. Brothers and sisters, there is no pre-tribulation rapture. If this is the generation that is called, that Christ is at the door, and Christ is coming back, and I believe that he is, very possibly in my lifetime, but if we are the generation that's called to this, then that is what we face. We face this war against the saints, and a prevailing war. It's going to look like you're defeated, but of course we know the end of the story, that Christ ruled triumphantly, but those who endure to the end shall be saved. This is why it's so important to be ready right now. We've talked in other videos of what it means to have your vessels filled with oil, so you're not like the foolish virgins who are caught unawares, and the door is shut. The door is shut, brothers and sisters. He says to them when they cry out, I never knew you. You see, this is the seriousness of the situation, that we have to prepare ourselves, and we have to prepare ourselves for a war, a war that he will wage against the saints, and how do we do that? By the blood of the lamb, by the word of our testimony, and we loved not our lives unto death. There has to be something that you're willing to die for, and that something has to be the Lord Jesus Christ, that you would be willing to stand, and therefore stand in the evil day. There's been many evil days throughout the last 2,000 years, but there's the evil day that's coming. That's the last days, the birth pangs, that's begun, I believe, and so this is just a short video to encourage you, brothers and sisters. Be encouraged. Be ready. Be vigilant. You know the attack is coming. You're much better prepared when you know the attack is coming, than if you ignore that. Don't ignore it, brothers and sisters. Get ready. Understand and know that there is no pre-tribulation rapture. If we are the generation that goes through this, and we may well be, then we will go through it by the blood of the lamb, and the word of his testimony, and the spirit that the Lord has given us is not a spirit of fear, right? A love, power, and a sound mind, but it's that sound mind that's not running around, lost our minds, and fear, and trembling, but we stand upon the blood of the lamb, and the word of his testimony in our lives, that we will stand upon the truth, even if it takes our lives, and it may well do. That's all, brothers and sisters, and don't worry about that. The spirit of the Lord will be with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. You may think to yourself, I can't do that, that's terrible. You won't fail, not if you walk in Christ, not if you walk in his spirit, not if you've been walking in his spirit, and not according to the flesh. This inner man being renewed daily, even though the outer man is perishing, it's the inner man, it's the spirit, your spirit that will rise up, the spirit of God that will rise up in you, and give you the strength when you need the strength. So be encouraged, brothers and sisters. God bless you. ======================================================================== Video: https://sermonindex2.b-cdn.net/gZ5FJPOt6ns.mp4 Source: https://sermonindex.net/speakers/frank-mceleny/there-is-no-pre-tribulation-rapture/ ========================================================================
