Lord, this night we are asking as we break forth into the air, and as we take our journey, and as we go in obedience, cause us to know your strong hand. Cause each one of us to experience your mighty hand in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask, O God, that the Word of Life that you choose to send to us now, it will make us faith in our hearts. It will prepare us for the task and the journey that you have set for us. Thank you, Father. Thank you for the challenge of our nation. We trust you, God, that your mighty hand will deliver us. You will do something that will be clear that God has come to show forth his hand. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus Christ's name we have prayed. Amen. There are three issues that we want to quickly highlight in the few things God has brought to us in the course of tonight. And what God has been saying a few days towards the end of the year that has just passed, and the reality of what God is launching us into at this time. Now, Exodus. I want you to please come to Exodus. Two passages in Exodus that will be very important for you as you go from here. Exodus chapter 3. Exodus chapter 3. Now, you know the story of Moses when God was calling him to lead the people of Israel out of captivity. That have kept them in bondage for 430 years or thereabout. You remember the story? Alright. So I will not need to tell the story. I only want to refer to it so that we can lay hold on what God is saying concerning us at this time. Now, first, when Moses had made an attempt to deliver the children of Israel from the house of bondage, he was very zealous, he was very, very committed, and he was ready to die doing what God has told him to do. But did you notice something happened to him? He faced a very serious rejection. It was like he would not be able to make it. Even the people themselves, they were the ones that first challenged him. Who made you a leader and a ruler over us? Do you remember the story? And the Bible says at that, he fled. He ran away. And for another 40 years, nobody heard about Moses. Nobody found anything about him. And nobody actually looked for him. He just went. But in those 40 years, God was doing something very deep in his life to prepare him for his assignment. When we are crossing into the year, one of the things that God began to note, and I want you to note it, is that we are not just changing calendar year. That this year for us is not just that we are changing a calendar year. We say, okay, we move 2018 to 2019. It's much more than that. That God is crossing us over into the set time that he has planned and arranged in which to bring to pass several of his promises, both concerning us and concerning his purpose in our generation. We have seen things that he has done over years. We have seen his help. We have seen the miracles. And we have testimonies. But God is rising again and say, put your hand in my hand. I'm taking you into the things that I have spoken, that I have said to accomplish through your life and in your time. Because the set time for God to do it has come. Now when the time for God to visit the children of Israel came in Exodus chapter 3. So I want all of you to quickly go to Exodus 3. And I'll make quick issues as we set the base for where we are going tonight. When God came and began to speak to Moses in verse 8, Exodus 3.8. And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians. And to bring them up out of that land onto a good land and a large, onto a land flowing with milk and honey. Onto the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites and the Evites and the Jebusites. Now therefore behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me. And I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppressed them. Come now therefore. And I will do what? I will send you unto Pharaoh that thou mayest bring forth my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt. Now that was what God was commissioning Moses to go and do. But that commissioning to go is because it is time when God wants to move. That commissioning of going, you also go, is because it is time for something to happen according to God's own calendar. So just like I began to say that when we cross into this year, God was saying you are not just changing calendar dates. You are entering into my own year of fulfillment. The year that I have ordained in my own calendar in which to show you my mercy. In which to demonstrate to you my favor. And in which to bring to pass the promises that I have been holding out for you and to you and for your lives. But two things that is very important for me to note tonight as I go ahead building on this. Was that when God finished speaking to Moses and God began to tell him all that would happen. Something strange was said in verse 19. And that's where we are going to spend a little while. Both to pray and to understand what God is offering us as we go into the year. Verse 19. And I am sure that the King of Egypt will not let you go. No. Unless. By what? By a mighty hand. King James says no. Not by a mighty hand. And I will stretch out my hand and smite Egypt. With all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof. And after that he will let you go. And I will give these people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. And it shall come to pass. That when you go. You shall not go. How? Empty. But every woman shall borrow of her neighbor. And of her that sojourns in her house. Jewels of silver. And jewels of gold. And raiment. And ye shall put them upon your sons. Upon your daughters. And ye shall spoil the Egyptians. Praise the Lord. This is the first of the passages that I want to lay ahead of you. Even as we break forth into the year. The first issue. And it has different dimensions of application. But permit me to first of all begin with your own lives. And then we move on to apply it onto the commission that God has given us now. And then we move on to apply it to the situation of our country. First I wanted to note God saying I have come down. I have come down to deliver my people. I have come down to set them free. And I want to send you to go and occasion it. I'm sending you as my hand, as my instrument. To go and bring to pass what I have already come down to do. There are deep and definite things that God has determined to begin to do. Because the set time for this thing has come. The years that God has set aside in which he was going to do these things have come. And he said I have come down to deliver them. But now I want to send you to go and take them out. So let's quickly note that the commission that God is giving us now. Is taking us to a new phase. You wonder what is going to be peculiar about 2019. That is going to be different from 2018, 2017. When God began to speak again to us. Even though for some of us 2019 is going to be a cumulative. Of what God began to do with our lives in 2017 and 2018. Is going to be a progression or a progressive increase of it. But for some of us you are going to be experiencing. Something new. Something of a new dimension. Something of a new, yes let me just stop at that. Of a new dimension. Something that you attempted before. And it was a failure. Simply because he who ought to arise. For that thing to happen did not rise then. He said but now I have come down. I have come to deliver my people now come and go. As we rise to go in obedience to God's word now. We are going to be seeing what looked impossible before. What looked difficult before. We are going to see it coming effortlessly to pass. Hallelujah. But now there's something that God is offering us. And that's what has excited me this morning. As we are crossing into the new year. I see the Lord say now I have offered you my hand. And I thought it would be wonderful for us. To sit back and look at what does the hand of God do. When the hand of the Lord is upon a man. What does the hand of the Lord accomplish. When his hand comes strongly upon a man. How does the hand of God cause things to happen. Particularly when his right hand is stretched towards you. How does the hand of God move stones and obstacles. And push them aside. For that which had looked inaccessible. That which had looked very far fetched. To be dragged to your vicinity. Now God began to speak to Moses. And said Moses even though for 40 years you have waited for this. Even though for 40 years you have almost lost hope. Even though for 40 years it looked as if what you gave your life up for. Is not going to come to pass. I have now come down. I have come down. Now come let me send you. So in keeping with what God has been saying. Go you also, go you also, go you also. I want you now to know that God is saying. I'm asking you to go. Because I have already come down. Praise the Lord. I'm asking you to go. And collect the victory. Because I have come down to do my work. And so by the grace of God what some of us will see. Is that we will be working into. What had been looking impossible for so long. And we're going to be collecting it effortlessly. As if it has not been a problem before. Because the hand of God is going to do it. In the name of the Lord Jesus. Now. Why Moses was now asking all the questions he asked. Which is not for us tonight to ask those questions. We're just looking at what God is asking and speaking to us about. The Lord himself. The Lord himself was the one that raised the issue in verse 19. And I want all of us to look at that verse 19. He said, I am sure. Another version say, I know. Is there any version that say I know? Does anybody carry a version chapter 3 verse 19. That use the word I know. Which version is that? Stand up and read it. But I know. I know. This God say, but I know. That the king of Egypt will not let you go unless. Unless a mighty hand compels him. When I look at verse 20. Yes. I will do what? I will stretch out my hand. There's a stretch out hand here. There's a stretch out hand that God is going to stretch out on our behalf. The very critical issue this year for me. Is that a stretch out hand is here. And I'm putting my hand in that hand. And what had looked impossible. What had looked difficult. Including the stubbornness of the king of Egypt. It shall become nothing. Because the hand, the mighty hand of God. Will compel him. And for you as an individual. That's the first issue I wanted to mark. I wanted to mark that. Going into this year. You are going under an outstretched hand of God. An outstretched arm. There's a hand that is stretched. To fight the battles. To push the stubborn opposition. And push it backward on our behalf. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. And for that assignment that heaven is asking us to flow into. For that commission that you have deliberately received. When they say, go you also into the vineyard. It is because two things is going to happen. The Lord himself has come down. He's going before you. Number two. The strong hand of God. The mighty hand of God. Is being stretched out. To cause a divine release on your behalf. You will report this as the years go. Amen. You are going to come back and say. Now a hand has gone ahead. It will no longer be you. Flexing your muscle. It will be the hand of God. Stretched out. To go ahead. He said, I know, I know. I know that the king of India will not let you go. Unless a mighty hand compares him. A mighty hand is going to be stretched on our behalf. That will compare your enemy. That will compare the opposition to bow. In the name of Jesus Christ. Yes. He said. And I will stretch out my hand. And smite Egypt. With all my wonders. And I will do. Which I will do in the midst thereof. And after that. What will you do? You have no alternative. Than to let you go. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Now, before I leave that passage. Because I will soon leave it. So that we can go ahead in our prayers. Now, he said. And I will give these people. Favor. If you take note of what God said to us. As we are crossing into the year. God was saying. My hand is upon you. My hand is a hand of favor. I will cause my favor. To attend your way. In the course of the year. You see. Now, God was saying. Look at the Egyptians. The Egyptians were the oppressors. Were they not the oppressors? They were the tax masters. They were the people that impoverished. The children of Israel for years. And they never expected them to go anywhere. In fact, they planned that they would die. And perish in that place. But. When the hand of God is stretched out. When it is time for God to take his people out. He said. I will cause these people. To have favor. In the eyes of the Egyptians. To the point that. All those are used to say. Yes, where are you going? How can you move here? Suddenly. Suddenly. Because that hand. Stretch out on your behalf. Will turn things around. Then they will be asking. How can we help you? What do you need? In what way can we assist? So that this thing you need to do. You can do it quickly. Are you hearing me? Those who said. There is no way for you here. Suddenly. They are the one who will carry the shovel. And begin to clear the way. And say. Kai. Oh. So. So you had wanted to pass here. And we have been blocking you. Sorry. What can we do to help you make a way here? I wanted to watch that. In the course of the year. Praise the Lord. I wanted to. It's not going to be because of anything else. Because. The hand of God. Will be upon your lives. You will be moving under an outstretched hand. Of the Lord. You know. When it's time. There is no time tonight. I would have wanted you to search. Wherever the mighty hand of God was stretched out. Wherever the outstretched hand of God was released. Sometimes they call it the only hand of the Lord. Sometimes they call it the everlasting hand. Sometimes they call it the mighty hand. Sometimes they say. My right hand. Praise the Lord. So he said. He will cause his favor. You will suddenly begin to see that. Even where. You seem to know nobody. Because the hand of the Lord will be. Ahead of you. Even those. Who were antagonistic. They will start. Showing you favor. They will start working for you. So the Bible said. The children of Israel. All the women. They should go. That night. To all their Egyptian neighbors. Are you hearing me? And they should be asking. Say go to all your neighbors. And of her. That sojourned in her house. Go and ask. Jewels of silver. Jewels of gold. And lament. I don't know. Whether you are thinking very well. Here is a person that has been your slave for years. And you have oppressed him so much. And you don't expect him to go. Even by yesterday you were saying he will go nowhere. But overnight. Overnight. And the children of Israel. Actually led over the night. Am I right? The people came and said. Come and go. Come and go. Just come and. Just be going now. He said no we are not going yet. I said no you must go now. What do you need to go? What do you need to go? I need raiment. We need clothes. They said clothes. They went inside their wardrobe. What was compelling them to begin to pack out. Their own treasure. Are you hearing me? And giving it to the children of Israel. Nobody could explain. They said I will need. Look at how they put it. I will need. I will need jewels. Of silver. And jewels of gold. And then the Egyptian. What did they do? They went inside. And started carrying out their jewels. What do you call jewels? Something that is precious. Something that is costly. Something that you are keeping. They began to bring it out. And they began to hand it over. To the children of Israel. They were handing over. They were handing over. The Bible said by the time they left. They spoilt Egyptians. They woke up. The Egyptians just suddenly said. What has just happened to us now? What has just happened to us? What did we do with our hand? You mean with my hand. I carried all my jewels. And gave these people. Then the other one. Turned to the other woman and said. What happened? That's how it happened to me. As I just saw this woman packing the gold. I don't know what came over me. I said what do you need? He said Raymond. I carried the best of my garments. I gave him. I carried all the jewels in my house. The jewels of silver. The jewels of gold. They have gone with it. He turned to this other and said. What happened? He said we didn't know what happened. I just don't know what came over me. I just suddenly began to favor them. Whatever they asked. I just was doing for them. And they have gone with all our jewels. That's part of the reason why they decided. Let's pursue them. And see whether I can take them back. But it's too late. What did I say? It has become too late. Impossible anymore. How can you bring back? What God has taken? How can you reverse? When God said to his people. Go forward. May the Lord cause you to know the might. Of his hand. Upon your lives. Upon your personal affairs. In the course of this year. In the name of Jesus Christ. The hand of God. It's not that there will be no opposition. God said I know. That the king of Egypt will not do what? Will not let you go. Unless. A mighty hand. Now what I wanted to look for in the course of this year. Is the mighty hand. Not the opposition of the Egyptians. They will not let you go on their own. But when the mighty hand of God has been stretched out. Hallelujah. Things will turn around. And it is that hand. That heaven has offered to us. That we must go with in the course of these days. And these months that are ahead of us. May God go with you. With his mighty hand. In the name of Jesus Christ. Now. As they moved. As the children of Israel moved. The story of the final movement. You find it. In Exodus 13. And 14. It was a movement. That actually. Was wonderful to see. But the secret of it. Is that the hand of the Lord. Was upon them. Praise the Lord. Now as they were moving. Suddenly. The children of Egypt and Egyptians and their king. Woke up. They woke up to the reality. What was the reality? They woke up to the reality of their loss. Suddenly. All their. All their work centers. Where they had used the children of God. The children of Israel. As cheap laborers. They paid them nothing. Suddenly they went to the site. And God everywhere was what? Empty. Ah. They went back to their houses. They discovered that. Everywhere. Was evacuated. They went back. And began to ask one another. Sir. What have we just done? What is it that came upon us? Why did we allow them to go? Pharaoh himself said. I even wonder. Why did I allow them to go? I'm going to go and bring them back. So they mobilized their army. They got their chariots. They got their best horsemen. And horse riders. And they began to pursue the children of Israel. Meanwhile God had told the children of Israel. There's a shortcut. But I don't want you to go through a shortcut. Because when you see war. You will likely to run back. I want to take you through a longer route. The route of the Red Sea. And what was the plan? So that they will see more and more. Of the God who delivered them. So that they can experience more and more. The power of their redemption. God is going to allow you. To prove. More and more. Of his faithfulness. Praise the Lord. The opposition that will come behind you. Listen. They are nothing. But opportunities to prove. The power of God. To prove the hand of God on your life. As you go this year brother. The opposition that will seem as if. It is threatening you. There's no problem about it. It was but an opportunity. For you to prove. The faithfulness of God. It will be an opportunity for you. To establish. The reality. Of the hand of God on your life. Never you be afraid. And say. But God said he will deliver me. Honestly he has delivered you. All that you are seeing now. Was only an opportunity. To establish. By yourself. To prove. To know. In your heart. That the God that saved you. Is the mighty God. And that the hand. That was stretched out to deliver you. Is the hand that cannot break. Praise the Lord. Did you hear what I'm saying? Can you imagine the kind of challenge. That the children of Israel will face. And I need to say that because. This will be. Coming your way. As this year unfold. But never bother. They are all opportunities. To prove the faithfulness of God. Am I communicating with you? When you come back. Those will be the dimensions. Of your testimonies. They will be the dimensions. Of how you come and say. Wow. That thing. The look I see they will chop me. But I will just. God just told me. Not to worry. I should see. How his hand is going to deliver me. And I saw the hand of God. All of you will come back and say. I've seen the hand of God. I saw the hand of God. I saw the hand of God in that thing. I saw the hand of God in that matter. I saw the. You will see the hand of God. In the name of Jesus Christ. God offers to me. His hand. There is a way in which yes. We have known the grace of God. We have known. The hand of God in our lives. And there is a way in which. But there is going to be. Another dimension of that. As we go this year. So what. What was it? When the Egyptians woke up. They said. Oh no, no, no. Let's go and pursue them. And God. Who wanted to demonstrate his power. Kept quiet. I hope you know that God could have stopped them. Right. In their Egypt. Am I right? But he didn't stop them. Do you know that God could have. Made it impossible for them. To even know the road. That the children of Israel have taken. God did not do that. He allowed them to trace. And as they were coming. They were coming with great speed. As if yes. And they got all their chariots. They got all their horse riders. They got all their very, very. Highly. Trained. Soldier men. And the children of Israel. Who did not understand. They were wondering. They were wondering. Look at the Red Sea in front of us here. Look at the Red Sea. That nobody could pass through it. Without dying. Standing here. Look at the Egyptians. They are all coming. And they are moving. They are moving. They were riding horses. The children of Israel were trekking. Do you understand now? So it was easy. To overtake them. But come and see God. Come and see what God was going to do. With His stretched out hand. When they were coming. The children of Israel say. Sir. Is it because there are not enough graves. In Egypt. That's why you just planned. To give us a mass burial. In this Red Sea. Why is it that you have just brought us. Into these difficulties. We could have just stayed there. And be dying one by one. But now we are all going to die in one day. And I think the way they were talking. The way they were talking. Was really really. Touching Moses. So Moses quickly went to go. Oh God. Oh God. You told me that your mighty hand will deliver us. And we are out here. And the Red Sea in front. Our people are going to drown here. And the Egyptians are going to just close in upon us. And finish us one by one. Oh God what do I do? God said. Tell my people. To do what? To go forward. Tell somebody by yourself. Say go forward. Just go forward. It doesn't matter. You know those who are behind you. You go forward. Go forward. Imagine God saying. Go forward. The first question I ask you. To where sir? Look at the Red Sea. You say we should go forward. Where are we going? How can we cross this place now? How can we come through this place now? This is going to be difficult. Those that couldn't see. Then God said to Moses. Moses. Tell my children to go forward. The Egyptians you see today. You see them no more. And as they were moving. The first thing God did. You know what God did? He transferred the pillar of clouds. He transferred it backward. So that the Egyptians. Whatever light they were using to run. Suddenly it became darkness. They just saw them saying. A very thick darkness. They don't know where they are now. Then God. Carried the pillar of fire. In front of the children of Israel. So come and see a wonderful demarcation. One group is in darkness. Another group is where? In the light. The hand of God. And then. The Lord said to Moses. What's in your hand? He said this little rod of mine. Strike. And as he weaved it. The rest he just divided. Clearly into two. And the dry land appeared. As if somebody had made a bridge. And he said tell them to move. And the children of Israel were moving. With their pregnant women. With their small children. With their cattle. They moved. They just moved plain. While they were moving. Can I ask you? What was happening to the Egyptians? They were groping in darkness. They were just going round and round. Because they don't know the road again. When the children of Israel. Have clearly crossed over. And there was not a hoof. Left on that other side. When God had crossed his children over. He now shifted the cloud. The Lord I'm talking about. He shifted the cloud. Then the children of Egyptians. They saw. That's the road. We are going. They even saw the road into the Red Sea. They saw the dry land. So that encouraged them. The Lord is going to encourage the enemy. To go and perish. You see. You can't imagine what God did. He just encouraged them. He just mobilized them. Yes, yes, yes. Let's go the way it's going now. So the Red Sea has broken. We will cross. Even as they cross we will take over them. He allowed them. He allowed them. I know the children of Israel. Don't understand God's strategy. They don't understand what God is doing. As many times you don't understand what God is doing. Many times you think this thing is too much. This thing is too much. But I'm telling you. This thing is about to finish. This oppression is about to finish. Both for you and for Nigeria. This matter is about to finish. It's about to finish. You see the Giri Giri Giri. They are doing as if. Yes, we are going to take over. We are going to take over. We are going to take over. It's about to finish. Go and mark it. Go and take note of it. You wonder how they came out. And everything looks so highly organized. And it looks as if nobody can resist this thing. It was going to overrun everywhere. It's because. The set time. For God. To demonstrate His mighty hand has come. The truth of the matter is that. On our side. We have no warrior. On our side. There is no horse to ride. There were no weapons. But there was one thing. What is that thing? The hand of the Lord. The stretched out hand of the Lord. Is much more than millions of chariots. And when God stretches His hand over a man. And over your case. What else can anybody do. To turn that hand backward. It's impossible. I'm just too excited that. God was offering me. His hand. You see. And my hand. My hand. Will fight the battle for you. My hand. Is going to push backward. That which is opposing my purpose. In your day. My hand. Is the hand of God that will do it. Brother. The hand of the Lord. Is going to do it. And I want you to just watch it. All those that are spooking. Very very loudly. As if they do not have their nostrils. I mean their breath in their nostrils. All those that are black. As if. They have the tomorrow in their pockets. It's okay. So you see as they were coming. In fact they were getting more encouraged. Heaven was encouraging them to go and perish. So when they got to the middle of the river. God made sure that all of them. Got into the middle of the river. And to them they were making progress. And they were already calculating how they were going to finish the people of God. Then you know God Almighty. He first of all made sure something happened to them. He gave. All their chariots. Their the tires. He punctured it. So their tires became heavy. Like lead. They were sinking. I could imagine the government say. Move. Say sir. Oga. Oga. We have punctured. How can you have punctured here? Move. They don't say excuse me sir. If you look at our. The wheel has become lead. It's just so heavy. We try to push it. It's just sinking. What's going to happen now? What is the problem? Move. They don't know. That hand. That hand. When God turns his hand against your enemy. They won't know what is pushing them backward. They will try. But the more they try they will scatter. They were sweating inside the water. And God talked to Moses. Moses. I tell you that this Egyptian you see today. This is their last. You won't see them anymore forever. Wave your hand again. As he did. The water. On this side. On this side. What did he do? They were crying. They were shouting. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They shouted until they perished. And the children of Israel. They are moving. The hand of God. Let's note that over the land where we are. The hand of. It's a mighty hand that will fight this battle. It's a mighty. The hand of God is going to stretch. Imagine that a whole. A whole nation. With all their artillery and power. They are out to crush a tiny people. That does not have backbone. But the hand of God. The hand of God. The mighty hand of God. We sought this issue out. In the name of Jesus Christ. I said for you as an individual. You will sense. You will experience the mighty hand of God in the course of the year. That hand will be so strong on your behalf. That hand will uphold you. That hand will create and pave ways on your path. That hand will go ahead. Will go ahead. To cause eternal things to begin to happen on our behalf. We are going to experience the hand of God. In the course of the year. We have experienced God. We have experienced grace of God. We have experienced things. But we are going to experience him. Especially again in the course of the year. In the name of Jesus Christ. Now. When the Lord told them to go forward. As far as God is concerned. The Red Sea was not an obstacle. My brothers. I am hearing God say go forward. Go. Go to where I am sending you. What appears like an obstacle now. It will not stand as you are going. Because there is a hand that is clearing the way for you. If you don't go forward. You will not see the miracles. If you sit down and say well. And you know the Red Sea is still there. You will not know that God has arranged how it will break. I want to charge you as we move from here. Move forward. Never you fear any obstacles. You just go. As you are approaching it. It will melt. Now you are not the one melting it. It is the hand of God ahead of you. Praise the Lord. And then because God said go forward. Don't worry about what is at your back. What appears to be pushing you at the back. Heaven is going to take care of it. Permanently. Permanently. You are going to see what God can do. When his hand is stretched out on a life. Praise the Lord. Now. Why God is saying. Tell my people to go forward. I try to look at what is the issue. With the people of Israel. With the people of God. Were they ready? Were they well organized? Were they all correct people? One thing that struck me this morning. Is that it was not about them. It is about God. Rising to do what he says he will do. At the appointed time. Praise the Lord. The more afraid about our challenge in Nigeria. And about things. About how things have happened among us. You fear. I say God you know. We are not even qualified for you to help us. But God is saying. It is not about your qualification. It is because. In my determinate cancer. The set time for me to favor Zion. Has come. It will just be divine favor. Merit we have none. Organization we are disorganized. To say we have men. We don't have men. But there is a mighty hand. That God is stretching out. Because of his purpose. So I will be leading you to pray tonight. I will be trusting God. Me and you we are going to see miracles in this year. We are going to see God. Fight. Where men thought they have already conquered. We are going to see God. On our behalf. Sometime calculations may not assist us. Because there is nothing to calculate. There was nothing to calculate. You couldn't be calculating Moses. And the feeble Jews. Against King Pharaoh. And all his well equipped army. You will not be able to calculate. The people that have all the money. All the treasury is with them. What can these feeble Jews. What can they do. If it is to use their strength. But he who came to deliver them. Is a mighty God. The mighty God has arisen. And he will help us. He will fight our battles for us. He will set his people free. And he will prove to the. The kingdom of darkness. That he is still the Lord in heaven. Hallelujah. So as they moved. And God broke the Red Sea. And the Egyptians. Thinking they could also do the same. They pursued them. They went in after them. To the midst of the sea. Even all Pharaoh's horses. His chariot and his horsemen. And he came to pass that in the morning watch. The Lord looked upon the hosts of the Egyptians. Through the pillar of fire. And of the cloud. And he troubled the hosts. Of the Egyptians. That is in chapter 14. Verse 24. God troubled their hosts. I don't know what that meant. I don't know how to explain that to you. In a very short while. But the Lord troubled. The hosts of the Egyptians. He went into their camp. And created trouble for them. There was nothing they can do. They fought and fought and fought and fought. Until they are completely exhausted. And the Lord. Made sure that they took off their chariots. Wheels. That they drove. Them heavily. So that the Egyptians said. Let us flee from the face of Israel. For the Lord fighted for them. Against the Egyptians. Can you see that verse? Is any of you able to look at that Bible verse? Chapter 14 of Exodus. And verse 25. Maybe you should read for us. The lady that was reading the NIV. Can you read from. Verse 24, 25. Please do it quickly. Yes. The Lord. Is fighting for them against Egypt. We better run away from this people. But you see. Their decision to run. Was too late. Did you hear me? Their decision to do what? To run. Has now become late. They are trapped. They want now to turn. How do you turn a car? Whose two tires? Two front tires. Are flat. How do you turn it? If it was on a dry ground like this. You would think okay. But now you are turning. The wheel that is very heavy. On sand. If you try to fire it. What happened to your wheel? It sank more. Suddenly it became clear. We don't know what is fighting us. The seller they have not shot one gun. But look at us here. We are sweating. We cannot go anywhere. We better run away from these people. Because the Lord their God. Is fighting against us. On their behalf. When you are ready to pray. I will get you to stand up to pray. Are you ready to pray? That is fighting us. Is it not true? Did we not hand over this land to God? Did God not promise us that. Whosoever stood up to fight us. He will fight. Is anybody taking that God for granted? Do you know that. They have gone other lands. And they have not received any opposition. And they can't imagine that it is in this place. Where there is no millionaire. There is no backbone. There is nobody. That they face the toughest opposition. And they are saying. What is in that place? That we cannot overrun it. What is in that place? Who are they? That we cannot just take over. As we are taking over other places. They can't understand. They can't understand what is going to trouble them. The mighty hand of God. Is going to fight for us. And. By the time God finished with them. You will see how the Bible put it. I want you to see how the Bible put it. In verse 30. Thus. The Lord saved Israel that day. Out of the hand of the Egyptians. And Israel saw the Egyptians dead. Upon the seashore. And Israel saw. That great work. Which the Lord did upon the Egyptians. And the people feared the Lord. And believed the Lord. And His servant Moses. We are going to see such a miracle here. It is going to redound in a reviver. Say the people saw what God did. They saw how God dealt with the Egyptians. And they saw the great work of God. They believed the Lord. And they believed His servant Moses. And then chapter 15 was their song. They began to sing. They sang and sang and sang and sang and sang. Women danced. Sister Miriam became the leader of women. That was calling. And you know how women can dance. It was wonderful. Men were beating drums. Women were ruling in front. And Miriam was leading them. They composed songs. Some of it which you already have learned. There are others we will keep singing when we get to heaven. Hallelujah. Now. What is the mighty hand of God going to do? To clear the way. To clear the way for you. To clear the way for the work that God has called us to do. There is going to be a movement. I already saw God moving us. Moving us forward. I said tell my children to move forward. Let them move forward. There is no obstacle in front of you. All the obstacles you see. They are only waiting for you to move. And as you begin to move. You will only be proving how faithful our God is. And all those that looked as if they are pushing you behind. God has allowed them and is mobilizing them. So that you can see the demonstration of the glory and the power of God. In the land of the living. Hallelujah. Are you ready for us to pray together? Please jump on your feet. And we are going to pray. We have some issues of prayer we are going to make before God this morning. The first issue is that you will no longer be stagnant as an individual. Let's pray over you. Lord you have come. You are saying move. Because the Lord himself has descended to fight those battles. To deliver his people and say go. I am using you. Tell the Lord now. This year is my year of movement. This year I am moving forward. This year your mighty hand is transporting me. From one level to another. And I am going to see your glory in the land of the living. Would you like to open your mouth. And just talk to God about that. For some of us. This year Max. Is stepping into a new dimension of God's purpose on your life. You are going to see. Brothers. I want you to know. Where you are now. Heaven is going to move you. But the key is the hand of God stretched out on your behalf. The hand of God stretched out on your behalf. Egyptians they are suddenly going to look on you with favor. They will begin to evacuate their treasures. Things that they have been hoarding. Things that they have been keeping. and look and see if that's their weapon, they'll begin to bring it and say, do you want this? Do you want this? Can you take this? Take it, take it, let's help you make a way. Please pray and say, Lord, this year, with your hand stretched out on my life, I am moving forward. Please pray. I want God to hear your voice. I want God to hear you declaring your obedience to the word of God this morning. Please pray. Please pray. Please pray. This is not a time to be tired at all. This is a time because we are walking into the new year. We are taking this first few hours to set the agenda. You are moving forward. You are getting to the next thing that heaven has said because he has come down. He has come down. He has come down. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Father. For you as an individual, this is not just a calendar year. This is the year in which God is moving you out into the next dimension of his purpose for your life. Whatever you were doing before, there's going to be a shooting forth, a shooting out, an increase of it. Go ahead and pray. Don't spare your prayers at this time. Go ahead. You want to walk about. You want to shout it. Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead. God is positioning us to walk with him this year under his mighty hand. Under his mighty hand. Thank you, Jesus. Even a few years of your own age will be far, far beyond all the years that you have spent before because the hand of the Lord. Moses was there for 40 years, but when it was time, It didn't take 40 days for him to see exodus, exodus, exodus of thousands and millions of people from the house of bondage. Father, you will cause us to see exodus. Our brother said he was going to depopulate hell, that God will use him to retaliate all that Satan has caused. You are going to pray and say, Lord because your hand is stretched, let your favor come upon me. Let your favor make a way for me. Let your favor establish your counsel in my life. Let your favor set me on the path of fulfillment. Please go ahead. The Bible said the Egyptians, they looked upon Israel with favor. They should have looked at them with hatred. They should have looked at them with consternation. They must have looked at them with a different eye, evil eye. But because the hand of God has been stretched, they have no alternative than to become their friends. Pray. Pray right now that by the mighty hand of God on your life, those that appear to be opposition, those that appear to be enemies, those that appear to be attacking before, they will suddenly turn. They will act favorably on your behalf. Please go ahead, go ahead and pray. Thank you Father. Whether at the government office where you work, or the university, or in the schools, or in the hospitals, or just wherever you are, the year for God to advance to is here. His mighty hand will fight on your behalf and will make a way for you. Go ahead, go ahead. Thank you this morning, O God. We say to you, take all the glory. Father, take all the glory. Thank you, Father. Don't forget, I say, you, personally, you are moving forward. No stagnation for you again this year. When you begin to move, heaven will begin to move. So this morning, stay praying for yourself. In terms of your accomplishment for God, in terms of your pursuit, in terms of your career development, in terms of that which God had ordained you to do, your year this year shall be made maximum. Every week, we can't be higher than the former week. There is going to be a steady increase, a steady progression in your life, in what you lay your hands to do this year. Shall we pray about that together? That this year, there's going to be steady progression in the purpose that you have proposed concerning my life, in the work to which you have called me, in the platform that you have asked me to occupy. Please go ahead, go ahead. Father, thank you. Thank you because we are entering this year with a new sense of your strong hand upon your people. And what had looked impossible for years, you will do it in a few days now. In a few days, we are going to begin to hear news of what the Lord God has done. Thank you, Father. Thank you, thank you, thank you this moment. Hallelujah. Thank you, Father. Now, the Egyptians, whatever they are, that you have seen, you will see them no more. God is declaring to you that those things, you will see them no more. So I want you to believe God as you activate it, activate it in your spirit now. Lift it up and talk to God and say, this thing that has been the matter, I'm hearing you say, you have seen it today, you will see them no more. God is going to render double, double, double. If double is something, ask God for that. The things that you have ordained me to carry out, month after month, there will be an increase of it. There will be a progressive increase of your purpose on our hands. We are going beyond the circus now. We are going into the fulfillment of your word in our day, in our time, in the name of Jesus. Now, we are moving to the next level of our prayers. Praise the Lord. In Jesus' name we have prayed. Some of what God is demanding for us to do in this year will be very engaging, but we still must do it. So I want you to call on God tonight. The walk to which you have called us will not become stagnant. We will move forward with it. All that you are asking us to move into in the course of this year, as we will be sharing in dwindling divisions, we ask that the mighty hand of God will move us there. Let's pray together. Please pray. There are new frontiers. There are different emphases God wants us to raise. Please pray. Please pray. We will get there. We will get there in the name of Jesus. Lord, your walk will not suffer damage in our hands. We will see the increase you have spoken to us about as younger couples that have just come. They will touch the reality of your word and your walk is going to increase in our hands. Your purpose is going to advance in our hands in the name of Jesus.
