Duration: 1:00 Topics: "Hardened Hearts", "The Danger of Unbelief" Scripture References: Mark 6:52, Hebrews 3:8, Psalm 95:8, Proverbs 28:14, Romans 2:5 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ DESCRIPTION ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This sermon emphasizes the danger of hardened hearts even after witnessing miracles and experiencing God's provision. It highlights how unbelief and minimizing the power of God can lead to hardness in the heart, hindering true faith and trust in Him despite witnessing His supernatural works. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ CONTENT ------------------------------------------------------------------------ They witnessed the miracle. They saw they had a basket of leftovers in their hand as they're leaving the situation. All seems well, right? You saw it happen. It's incredible. God provided and you're moving on with your life. Everything must be well with my heart. No. The very next interaction, Jesus looks at them and says their hearts were hardened with what we just read. They had hardness enter in. The moment right at the beginning, yes, Christ came in and He responded and He did the miracle, but that didn't take away the hardness that had entered in when they initially had this thought of unbelief where they minimized the Son of God's power. Right at that moment, when they're minimizing His power, when they're not looking to Him to provide for them right away, they're thinking of sending these individuals away. Hardness is getting over the heart. And that hardness doesn't go away even though they witnessed the miracle firsthand. They see the supernatural provision. They witnessed it. ======================================================================== Video: https://sermonindex2.b-cdn.net/bJgkqi_fqkw.mp4 Source: https://sermonindex.net/speakers/james-jennings/minimizing-gods-power-through-unbelief/ ========================================================================
