The World that visited me this Morning was this, When thou to God thy
Father dost Pray, Watch, and Weigh all Worlds thou dost say. Let that
Golden Plumb-line of the Spirit measure out all of your requests, that
your Prayers henceforth may carry force, and not go on in a customary
fruitlessness, according to what now is in general use. Therefore to the
Wise understanding Spirit repair, to draw up all your Petitions, who
only knows what will be heard. Wherefore let him only entercede in you;
and learn to stop the Spirits, that would go forth in forms of Words,
where is wanting the pure white Sail of Faith to spread over the moving
Wheel.
