It highlights the need for Christians to aim for holiness, use time wisely, and not be deceived by the temporary pleasures of the world. Lord. You are the only one who can feed us And Lord I pray for your help and assistance of the Holy Spirit That the word will become true And convicting and comforting Help us this morning or be gracious to us We ask this in your name for your glory. Amen So let's go together to Matthew 4 We will do the temptation we will go over the temptation of Christ and I hope and I pray and I know he will It will help us to increase our esteem for Christ. If you're a Christian you will see Christ greater and And if you are not a Christian you will be drawn to him and Just to introduce the first temptation. I just want to start a little bit earlier From chapter 3 verse 16 and I will read it when he had been baptized Jesus came up immediately from the water and behold the heavens were opened to him and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon him and Suddenly a voice came from heaven saying this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil and when he had fasted 40 days and 40 nights afterwards, he was hungry and When the tempter came To him he said if you are the Son of God Command that this stone become bread But he answered and said it is written Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceed from the mouth of God Then the devil took him up into the holy city set him up on the Pinnacle of the temple and said to him if you are the Son of God throw yourself down For it is written. He shall give his angel charge over you and in their hand They shall bear you bear you up lest you dash your foot against the stone Jesus said to him it is written again. You shall not tempt the Lord your God Again the devil took him up on an exceedingly high mountain and Shown him all the kingdom of the world and the girl and their glory and he said to him all these things I will give you if you will fall down and worship me Then Jesus said to him away With you Satan for it is written. You shall worship the Lord your God and him only you shall serve then the devil left him and Behold angels came and ministered to him This I have read this in so many time and every time I am blessed by it and every time it's an encouragement What do we see at the beginning before we go in the temptation of Christ? We see that the heavens were open never before it happened. But at that time the heaven were open now With Christ the Son of God on earth, there is a way between man and God and the kingdom of God were open to man and Then what does all the people around what do they see They see the Spirit of God descending upon him And he come in the likeness of a dog gentle and Should be is a characteristic of a Christian gentle Quiet meek And then the what do we hear the voice of the father Speaking Very specific word this this and no other this one is my beloved son I Have great delight in him. I'm well pleased with him And right there we have like the Trinity we have the Sun We have the Holy Spirit in The form of a dove coming upon him and we have the father speaking Never in the history before it has been so clear When all we're watching The father speak this one is my son And Then there is a verse what behold what manner of love The father has bestowed upon us that he should give his son for us He's a beloved son. He's the only one But God has given him for us sinners And after such moment What do we see just starting with chapters four? right after Jesus is brought into the wilderness Because of his sin or what's the reason he's brought in the wilderness Led by the Spirit Sometime we see in our mind that when we go into difficult time It's only because we have done something wrong or that God is not pleased God is well pleased with him He loved his beloved son But right after he's led by the Spirit in the wilderness For what? to be tempted By who by the devil by the snake himself Not by a small little demons not by a little temptation Not by a little movie, but by the devil himself And here what's the application for us? Sometime when we are very high spiritually when we had great time of prayer or after being used by the Lord after sharing the gospel after serving the brother the brother and the sister We must be on our guards temptation often come at that time We we for us in our sinfulness we may have pride coming And we may be easily tempted And here what do we have we have this great duel We have Jesus a son of God and the snake himself they will face each other and Jesus will face him as a man we forget this But Jesus will face the devil as a man filled with the Holy Spirit not as God But as a man full of the Holy Spirit and And what is the best preparation for us to face the devil Is to know we are the son of God to know that we belong to him That we are beloved To be certain of it Not our good works and our good Not confidence in ourselves, but to know what God has said about us His righteousness is mine. He has taken and washed all my sin And here and another application is the devil hate useful men and That's why I would say maybe I would say a little bit strongly but It is a sin for us as Christian not to pray for our elders and for our pastors or Any useful men we know Because they are even the more attacked How should we use our time But you how can we use it wisely but to pray for useful men there there are few and God will use our prayers to sustain them Now we'll go to Maybe I can read it then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil So he's led in the wilderness so With all his friends with all his fellowship and brothers alone Alone he's led up there for Christian True Christian want to be alone Not all the time It's not good. But for some time you can read every biography you want of useful men They spend time alone with God the Bible and The Lord if there is not this it's very dangerous When you always need people around you It's very dangerous I Had heard a man. It's a testimony a man in Africa he He spent I think he he went 40 days in a cave praying and reading his Bible and after 14 days the Lord took him and he started to preach and a church gathered and there was many conversion and From that year every year at the same time He would set up the 40 days with the Lord and he realized unless he do it. He has no power with men men who have Who has something to say there must be time alone with God we can see that with Moses With all the other example in the Bible Jesus Moses Abraham Elisha all the prophets time alone with God but what happened for Unregenerated heart if a man is not saved and he has a lot of free time what happened It is for his best or for his worst How would he use that time? For selfish self- centered Sinful ways Idle Idleness is the worst workshop of the devil That's a that's a good way to know this your heart If you are truly saved When you have free time you want to spend it alone with the Lord if you are religious or Whatever it is or even Evangelical but your heart is not changed when you are alone You will it will be sinful time selfish time So here we have the dual starting in the garden We see the man Christ Jesus the Savior of the world the deliverer The king of kings lion of the tribe of Judah the Lord of all the mighty one The one who set free the victorious one the Messiah We can compare it with the temptation of Adam and Eve think about Think about compare them. What do we see? With Adam and Eve it was a well Well watered Garden with many trees and shadow with little river and meadows and pasture and fruits on every tree and and They were both men and women Perfect climate they had fruit they had food they had drink Compare this with the temptation of Christ, what do we have? He's alone He's in the wilderness It is dry. It is windy. It is hot at during the day and cold at night Everything is against him and on top of it. He's fasting Have you ever skipped a meal? What happened if your wife asked you in a quite direct way to take the garbage out and You have missed your meal The temper come out very quickly and here what do we have we have Jesus Fasting in the wilderness alone to give the most advantage he can to the devil and And here we also see how was the thought of Adam and Eve it was through eating They saw with their eyes they ate and To me a good application is as Christ God use means, okay it is very necessary for Christian to also regulate and Discipline your most basic need like for example eating If you are undisciplined in eating How do you think you will resist temptation for greatest things? If you cannot control your eating What happened with the temptation for money or sex come in? as a Christian use all the means you can and start simply to discipline for simple things like food and Jesus here too He's fasting he's recommending fasting to us as a man he was fasting So here it start The Holy Spirit I wrote this here the Holy Spirit that descended upon him During his baptism made him weak Meek and gentle and yet bold And then the same Holy Spirit led him in the battle He was led as a man to be tempted by the devil without fear or trembling The best one of us the first Adam and Eve what did they do how long do you think they were tempted before they fell? In the perfect garden the first temptation they fell The best one of us Fell at the first temptation for a fruit for for something to eat But here we have the second Adam He's being tempted that he may overcome and show the way to us That and to show that he is a savior of the world and the captain of our salvation And Here we can go The devil does anybody know another word for him? the tempter the seducer or Satan our adversary We sometimes forget I think a Christian that I think John Piper talked about this in one of his preaching It's a battle we sometimes live as though we we don't think we're in a battle That everybody is fair and nice to us and that there is no devil but the devil is real and He will not play fair And he will not if you are down. He will not give you time to get up He Will not miss an occasion he's there to for your soul, and he will not give up quickly And he's like a lion If a lion is and this lion is always hungry You know lions when they are full after they eat half a zebra Maybe you can walk at the front of them. They will be okay, but this lion is always hungry and If you see a sheep that is weak He will come When does this when does the devil come After the fourth day of after the first day of fasting or after the last day of fasting At the beginning when he's still strong or at the end When he had fasted 40 days and 49 Afterwards he was hungry and now the tempter came to him He has the devil has observed man for 6,000 years he know very well how we think and how we feel and how we act and He has chosen the most perfect time after 40 days and 49 when Jesus is at the weakest and He comes strong and he start with a doubt if what was the first question to Eve Did God really say it's always to create the doubt first If you are the Son of God command that this stone become bread I Will put it in other words Can it be that the Son of God should be hungry and left alone in the wilderness Is that possible That really you are the Son of God when I find you alone for 40 days and you are hungry He cannot God is so weak. He cannot give you food. Oh God is so Unloving that he keep fruit food from you and he don't even send a friend to you. What God is this? Create he create a discontentment For to the child of God about the character of God So either God either it has to be two things either God is not your father or if he's your father is very unkind to you It cannot be you cannot be his child and God good. It's impossible That's all the lies that he will bring and that's all the lie. He brings to the Christian And if you are sincere and honest, you may have you I'm quite sure you had them How can God allow this in my life? How did he do this? What would happen if Jesus would obey it? He would have gone out of the way of obedience and create for himself the bread and By doing it. He would have agreed with Satan. God was not able to give it to me. I have to do it for myself and the Distrust would be there so if you're a Christian, we need to know and no doubt the great love of God for his children and We we should say Like Job though he slays me yet. I will trust him Though he starves me I will trust him In the side of eternity in the long range it is better To enter heaven with one arm Than hell with two arm. It is better to enter heaven hungry Than well fed in hell But if you look just for today It doesn't make sense. But on the long run, I prefer to be hungry now and Go to heaven later and have peace with God then to be well fed and great and Comfortable and at ease and lose my soul You Christ as a man Refused to comply. I want to emphasize it as a man filled with the Holy Spirit Because he shows a way in temptation for us Refused to comply not because he could not but he would not He don't have to prove to the devil that he he's a child of God He don't want to distrust The father's care for him He don't want to obey the voice of the tempter But he will wait upon the Lord Now what was the fall of Eve when when Satan came and he said Did God really say what was the greatest error of Eve she started to talk with him She started this discourse How often do we do this? We have a temptation. What do we do? We start to reason with ourselves We start to talk Maybe yes, maybe is this all this should have This is the beginning you are now on the slippery slope It's easier to stop right there, I am quite sure it's not written in the Bible But I am quite sure that the reply of Jesus it is written Man should not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceed from them. I'm quite sure that Jesus replied quickly as soon as the devil talk Jesus didn't start to think in himself He spoke it is written We need to stop the temptation and move on We need to do the same We think we can reason and through talking we will be able to remove the temptation. The devil is wiser than you You will lose at every time Even Jesus don't do this Even Jesus in all wisdom didn't start a discourse and Try to reason with the devil and show that the devil was wrong. He just go plainly to the scripture Do not delay but Obey like Abraham when when God said to Abraham go give up your son sacrifice it What does Abraham do the next day early in the morning? He goes He didn't take a week to pray about it Because if he would have waited a week, I'm sure he would have found a reason not to do it he obeyed right away so now for us I Will give you a recipe for this Take the Word of God when you read it and mix it with faith and then obey it and Because you you believe it so much you will obey it Take what the Word of God says mix it with faith and Because you will believe it so much you will then obey it Then we can go to the next temptation and to finish on that and sorry to finish on that one We can wait upon the Lord in the difficult time we are in if you are in a difficult time Wait upon the Lord. He is good. His character is unchangeable He was always good and he will always be good and he always do what is best So if he allowed you to be in a difficult place Don't find a little way another way around it. It is from the Lord like Job God has a purpose in it Do not listen to the voice of the evil one But go to the scripture and mix it with faith and obey it Then the second temptation if you are the Son of God, oh, sorry then the devil took him up into the holy city and Set him up on the pinnacle of the temple and said to him if you are the Son of God throw yourself down For it is written He shall give his angel charge over you and he needs their hand They shall bear you up lest you dash your foot against a stone Here how we read because they're a bit too difficult otherwise We can see that in the first temptation Christ fully trusts the care of God that God will take care of him And now the devil go try to push him the other way If the father cares so much for you just jump he will take care of you Going from an extreme to another one and Sometimes I see that often in churches. We so much don't want to be like them Then we go the other way and become the other extreme Scripture are abused Satan here abuse take out of context some scripture and there are misused and often in Evangelical church, they can be misused to cover sin and excuse sin Some I want you to pay attention to this some who have obtained a certainty that Christ is able and Willing to save them from their sin Can be tempted to presume that he will save them in their sin There is many people who believe this and I was one of them for a while Shall we continue in sin that grace and may abound more Shall I keep sinning I am saved by grace Should I then keep sinning because it doesn't really matter because I'm caught in sin I'm not covered anyway Certainly not This is presumption presumptuous sin. It is intentional rebellion Psalm 19 keep back your servant also from presumptuous sin Let them not have dominion over you Then I shall be blameless and innocent of great transgression Where did this happen? Where where did this temptation happen in the holy? City In a holy place in the temple on top of the temple this happened In holy place as well. Even the devil can come in holy places and he comes in to holy temples or in good churches With the same temptation and I can assure you if you keep playing on the edge You will fall Even though the father cared for you Even Jesus did not presume And here I have an example Can the devil push Jesus off? Off He cannot he cannot make he cannot Put the the fruit in our mouths to Eve, but he can he can tempt us that we will do it ourself Let's go to to one quarantine ten and this is very Real today and it has always been like this To not tempt Christ to not tempt God one quarantine ten But keep the Matthew four as well. We'll come back And it's quarantine ten Six I Will read it Now these things became our example So this is New Testament and they are written for our example to us now as our example To the intent that we should not lust after evil things are they us as they also lusted and Do not become idolaters as were some of them As it is written the people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play Nor let us commit sexual immorality as some of them did and in one day 23,000 fell nor let us tempt Christ as Some of them also tempted and were destroyed by the serpent nor complain As some of them also complained and were destroyed by the destroyer now all those things happen to them as example And they were written for what? for our admonition Upon whom the end of the age have come So here we have the people of God in the desert They are the people of God God took them out of Egypt all of them He made them pass through the Red Sea all of them. They saw the Pharaoh destroyed and his army all of them saw it But what do they do? They didn't take it seriously they were in presumptuous sin they'd care they didn't care They didn't love God They sat down to eat and drink and rose to play So to me this is a very strong warning, how do I use my time? We all have to go to work, I'm not talking we all have to sleep. I'm not talking about that time I'm talking about the leftover time Can I in good conscience Spend my time uselessly Aimlessly on internet on books on videos on movies on whatever it is and Then all the while I rest back, and I say God will take care of me The devil cannot do anything to me. I'm saved by grace This to me is presumptuous sin We should not tempt the Lord and here they did they tempted Christ When we do this, it's like we're daring God. What will you do if I keep going this way? I'm saved by grace What will you do if I don't really care? What will you do if I just I? Just trust your goodness What will you do to me? It is dangerous 23,000 were killed and We are in an age of eating drinking and entertaining Does anybody disagree I? Hope you don't it's true Never in the history of men we have worked so little to just to to provide for a family Hundred years ago Hundred years ago that you work 14 hours a day to provide for the family and no vacation just for food and and and a place under a roof Today we can work eight hours a day. We have food to spare we have vacation we have Cars and We can go to Hawaii once a year By working on the eight hours. We are in we never in the history this happened This this is for us to are we people who just eat and drink and rose up to play and work a little bit It's dangerous we need to use our time wisely You know Fearing the Lord how we use it And then this is a warning and now here is a Encouragement therefore let him who sing that stand take heed lest he fall no temptation has overtake you Except such as is common to man, but God is faithful Nothing you are tempted with is beyond. Yeah, sorry But God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able But with a temptation will also make the way of escape that you may be able to bear it And God will not allow to the child of God a temptation beyond what he can bear Don't listen to the voice of the evil one or yourself when you're tempted and say that's too strong. It's a lie It is not too strong And then what does God do he he he make a way of escape and now like a brother told me yesterday Would you take the way of escape? He provides it, but now would you take it I? Found myself often he provide a way, but I don't really want it, and I don't take it So he provide a way of escape we need to take it So this is an example from Corinthians 1 Corinthians 10 and the other example I have is act 5 Acts 5 this is shocking Acts 5 and we can just read from verse 7 We are here let me just tell you the setting we are here in maybe the purest Evangelical church that ever existed on earth We're at the beginning of the church Right after the time when the Holy Spirit came on flames of fire upon people Visibly There was continuous display of miraculous gifts The Apostle were still alive and preaching. Can you get better today? we have Corrie, but it's still They had the Apostle How much more than one they had many apostle preaching daily in the temple They would follow Peter to be healed that the shadow pass over them. That's the kind of church. We were in where they They didn't have reform and Protestant and and all this because it was so pure at the beginning they were the perf not perfect, but they were the Closest the purest church we could ever find with the purest theology you could ever find what happened there Ananias Ananias and Sapphira We would I don't want to read the whole thing But from verse 7 now it came about now it was about three hours later when his wife came in not knowing what had happened and Peter answer her tell me Whether you sold the land for so much She said yes for so much Then Peter said to her how is it? That you have agreed together to test the spirit of the Lord Look the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door and they will carry you out then immediately she fell down at his feet and Breezed her last and the young man came in and found her dead and carried her out buried her by her husband So great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things in the purest church We have this happening because the heart is so sinful They were saved by grace They had seen Christ, maybe They had witnessed they had heard men and women who had witnessed the resurrection They had seen displayed of miracle gifts And Together they tempted the spirit they agreed together that they would lie about the amount of money They were giving to pretend to be more holy than they were to pretend that they were more religious than they were And they are willfully purposefully Agreed upon sinning in deceiving people This is presumptuous sin when you purposefully willfully with design Sin And because the church was so pure The display was so clear the display of the of the Holy Spirit's gift The punishment was so clear as well But it was good for the church great fear came upon them God says God will not be mocked And I found Sometime we We excuse sin too quickly I am just a man What do you expect But this is a story of the temptation of Christ as a man fulfilled with the Holy Spirit Sometime when we say especially in reform circle, I'm just a wretched sinners How does wretched sinner act? Is is it that how all the letters in the New Testament are Does they start like this all the letters in the New Testament or it start like to the Saints In Ephesus to the Saints is in Philippi to this it's always like this to the Saints Not to the wretched sinners saved by grace Even though it is true. It is very dangerous when we start to use those and it it undermine our confidence it undermine Who we really are and I always want I hope I never lose it, but I always want about holiness about Pursuing the Lord. I always want you know a bow and arrow. I always want to aim at the middle of the eyeball and Then I leave it to God when I died how close I came That should be our goal We must aim at the center And not I'm just a man and I would aim where it wherever it goes that's wrong that's presumption presumption I would just be saved by grace, but aim at the center and his grace is sufficient to to forgive and wash you of all your sin when you miss it, but you must aim right and And all the epistle is to the same to the same continually the Peter didn't Paul didn't know they seemed as well sometime of course he knew but Jesus who we think we are would affect how we walk Then let's go yeah, so here for Jesus To just to just Jump from the pinnacle would be a sin He would have gone out of God's way and abused his grace and his protection We don't want to do this If we're truly his child and we do this he will severely Discipline us we may not died like in acts But it was severe discipline, and if you can keep doing it you should consider if your heart is changed Maybe it is a religious heart. Maybe it's a reformed heart or evangelical heart, but it's not regenerated. It's not born again God will discipline his children And now we have the last temptation Again the devil took him up on an exceedingly high man even higher than the temple and Showed him all the kingdom of the world and their glory and he said to him All these things I will give you if you will fall down and worship me Then Jesus said to him away with you Satan for it is written. You shall worship the Lord your God and him only you shall serve So the devil so Jesus allowed the devil to move him around And The devil well, I don't know how but he shows him everything in the world and I think the devil is very it's not written, but I can guess That maybe he only showed him He only showed him the good things the glory of the the glory the field the honor the houses status Appearance respect pleasure ease and comfort and he hid The suffering that sin bring the death the pain The sorrow the emptiness and the despair. Maybe he hid those parts and he just show What looks good and it is often the same When Satan come to tempt us he show us the short Benefit of it for a bowl of soup. I Cannot forget this for a bowl of soup Esau Lost his birthright For a bowl of soup For a short temporal Satisfaction he lost what was his And you I can I am trying to understand trying to sing what he was thinking at that time And I think is the same presumptuous he was presumptuous I Was born first. I will have my birthright. I am the first So let me have both. I will have the soup and Still I will not lose. I was still born first I'm still the first of my father. How can the other take it from me? And he wanted both for a bowl of soup easel despised his birthright He abused his birthright Lost of the flesh lost of the I pride of life to possess and have to possess and have more lost not love self-centered pleasure and ease The great lie that the devil cheat want to cheat us to deceive the soul Just a little bit more just one more time just a little bit more Look Here I wrote look look at you Jesus your father don't even give you bread. I will give you bread and even more Just worship me Your father is not good you don't give you bread, but I will give you so many other pleasures How great a lie this is a great deceiver he's called a deceiver He does not present the truth as it is Everything belonged to God he owned nothing He's he's just a prince of this world for a short time the cattle and a thousand here all things belong to God and Here it shows us to the greatest saints may be tempted by the greatest sin The greatest saints may be tempted to adultery to murder to blasphemy Jesus was tempted to worship the devil But again as soon as he heard this I Am quite sure as soon as he heard this He replied there was no delay. It is written What else do we have? It is written You shall worship the Lord you God and him only you shall serve As a man he worshiped God with his entire being Everything within him he lot with it loves the Lord you God with all your mind Your heart your strength your soul everything and he will take care of you and Here it's beautiful the devil seems strong, but he is not invincible What did he do Then the devil left him and Behold angel came and ministered to him the devil retreated. He did the worst he could to the man Jesus Without success The devil is a conquered enemy his time is counted. He will be chained forever And Jesus defeated it defeated him in the wilderness and at the cross As Christian we should not be under this Gloomy thought oh, I'm just a poor little sinner, and I must keep going on The bar the battle is already won Jesus made a way. He's away, and he already conquered You know in in the military Maybe I stand to be corrected here, but in the military. It was just the mind the man even though The body is important, but you can have maybe a weaker body But if the mind is set with a certain hope It is harder to stop such a man People in the Holocaust in Germany the one who survived Were most of the time the man and the woman who had hope and Were continuous thinking what they will do when they come out They were not stuck in this Gloomy all but all poor little me and all the German are doing this to me But they were set for after when I get out I will go there, and I will do this and as for the Christian should be the same Yes, it's difficult, but Christ has conquered death. He has conquered the devil He's with me to the end He lead the way he watch over me He will not leave me alone, and he has conquered Christ conquered the devil and the temptation on his own as a man the second Adam What do you think happened during that time in heaven? When the temptation was happening try to picture it what were angels doing? Jesus the Son of God he was there from the beginning But now for a short time he was as a man big tempted like a man all angels were watching Such God himself down in the wilderness as a man being tempted And then as soon as the devil left what happened behold look Unbelievable Angel came How many angels are needed to bring a Bowl of soup to bring a meal to one person how many are needed? Anybody knows? How many angels are needed to bring one meal? Only one is needed how many came? Many Why? But many came to show their respect and love and admiration admiration and worship One could have done it, but they all wanted to come maybe God had to say some of you stay up there And then we can see in Luke 4 Jesus returned in the power of the Holy Spirit I Think most people most Christian have no power Because there are continually In presumptuous sin they are continuing giving in here. We have a man filled with the Holy Spirit He passed through the streets and temptation untouched and now he Returned in the power of the Holy Spirit, and he started a ministry that will lead him to the cross Who is such a man But God Himself Manifested in the flesh the heaven opened and a dove came upon him the father himself spoke an audible voice about him He complete complete a complete victory against the devil. He served by angel He is a great and the only mediator between God and man. There is no other And he ministered for two or three years he is crucified in weakness according to the plan of God and resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit And I will finish by this it is a trustworthy saying that deserve full acceptance It is true and it deserve your acceptance Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners By yourself you are lost Through sin and temptation God must judge Those who commit evil There is only one man one mediator the God-man Jesus Christ and This saying deserve your full acceptance not in part, but full so if you are not a Christian What other proof do you need God spoke from heaven in a clear voice Jesus defeated the devil in here and at the cross And Yes, he this saying deserve if full acceptance to you personally Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners 1 Timothy 1 15 All have sin and fall short of the glory for 6,000 years It is the story daily all have sin and fall short of the glory only one Attain full righteousness and Please the Lord at every moment and He God the love of God For sinners he gave his son for us So turn to him. He will not reject any that come to him. That's his promise and if like me You Have Committed presumptuous sin or in the habit of it. You must make it, right? Don't dare the Lord to do something And great fear came upon them Amen ======================================================================== Video: https://sermonindex2.b-cdn.net/QmN5fpGmsRo.mp4 Source: https://sermonindex.net/speakers/jean-luc-sprunger/the-temptation-in-the-wilderness/ ========================================================================
