======================================================================== THIS HEART IS TOO SMALL - PART 2 by Joshua Daniel ======================================================================== Summary: The sermon emphasizes the importance of authenticity and accountability in our lives, and the fear of God's judgment if we fall into His hands. Duration: 9:41 Topics: "Spiritual Vitality", "Faithfulness" Scripture References: Revelation 3:15 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ DESCRIPTION ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This sermon emphasizes the importance of living a genuine and fruitful life before God, highlighting the significance of our works being recorded by the Lord. It warns against being lukewarm in faith and the dangers of appearing alive but lacking true spiritual vitality. The message challenges individuals to seek God's guidance and inspiration rather than relying on professionalism or routine in their spiritual endeavors. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ CONTENT ------------------------------------------------------------------------ And what is that record? Alright, it is recorded that in this year, 08, their retreat is taking place on this particular day. And you are sitting in that retreat. And your thoughts are being recorded. And your whole life's record is before the Lord. And all that you will, your response, the determination of your heart to amend your way of life, everything is recorded. And the faithful and true witness says, yes, I have your record right here. You know, many people spend all their strength and effort on putting out a false image. And you know, when there is an investigation made, they are so devious that in a court of law, many corrupt people are hard to convict. So many of them get caught free after a whole lot of investigation. But the Bible says, it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Where all your record is plain. Now, my dear friends, what are these works like? I know your works that you are neither cold nor hot. You know, some people are just existing. A paralyzed man who can hardly move is also alive. He may be bedridden for twenty years. But you cannot say he is dead. So sometimes, after a fellowship becomes a little big and great or grand, you know, there comes a stage when you can't say it is alive, full of life, full of fruit. Nor can you say it is dead. Now, when I see people like that, when I don't see real progress, and you know, there is a thing called professionalism. Well, you know, you can get very professional as a preacher. One of my good friends, he used to sometimes accompany me to my meetings in England. And the whole afternoon, I would pray. And I would not even go down to the supper table. And what God would give, I would give the people. He would say, normally we preachers here have a nice black little notebook. And we turn to some page, select a sermon, and preach. But, no one ever knows what you are going to preach. Another man said, that in Ireland, in that region which is supposed to be the most evangelical region in the world, here, when a man gives out his text, all the people know what he is going to say. But, nobody knows what you are likely to say. I can only say this. Every congregation is different. And every congregation is composed of different people. Their secrets can be very different. So, if I am going to be professional, and just do some duty, I would be a very unfaithful preacher. I do not know. There are many speakers and preachers and others here. I do not know how much time you spend or wait on God for what He wants you to say. So, when a fellowship begins to work extensively, ======================================================================== Video: https://sermonindex2.b-cdn.net/DOxGDjPZAoQ.mp4 Source: https://sermonindex.net/speakers/joshua-daniel/this-heart-is-too-small-part-2/ ========================================================================
