One day we'll not be waiting anymore, The generations who have gone
before, And we who carry on that torch they bore, One day we'll not be
waiting anymore. We count the steps, the skies, the weary years, As
bright camp days before the grim appears, But it will lift its spite
upon our fears. We will forget the way its toiled and tears.

Our Christ will come and lead the long time bore, The image of the earth
he shall no more, We shall be changed, made worthy of our Lord, He comes
fulfilling all we waited for. One day we'll not be waiting anymore, The
