In biblical tradition, believers have marked their homes as sacred spaces, dedicating them to God's presence and protection. The practice of anointing with oil, as seen in Exodus 30:25, symbolizes consecration and spiritual cleansing. The apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 6:10-18 about the importance of spiritual armor, which can be applied to the home as a place of refuge and strength. Additionally, scriptures like Genesis 28:18 and Luke 10:19 demonstrate the significance of claiming a space for God's purpose, while 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 encourages believers to take spiritual authority over their homes, trusting in God's power to overcome any darkness.
