14 Bible Verses on Answered Prayer

14 verses

Scripture teaches that God hears and responds to the prayers of His people. In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus instructs believers to have faith that their prayers will be answered, saying that whatever they ask for in prayer will be given to them. The apostle John writes in his first epistle that when believers ask according to God's will, they can be confident that He hears and answers their prayers. Jesus also promises in the Gospel of John that if believers remain in Him and His words remain in them, they can ask whatever they wish and it will be done for them, as seen in John 15:7 and reinforced in John 15:16.
