16 Bible Verses on Assurance

16 verses

The Bible teaches that believers can have confidence in their salvation, knowing they are children of God. According to 1 John, this assurance is a gift from God, allowing believers to know they have eternal life. The apostle Paul expresses his own trust in God's power to guard what has been entrusted to him in 2 Timothy, while John 3:16 reminds us of the depth of God's love for the world. Romans and Psalms, such as Psalms 23:4, also offer reassurance of God's presence and care, giving believers the certainty they need to face life's challenges.
