As followers of Christ, believers are called to share the good news of salvation with others. According to 1 Peter 3:15, this involves being prepared to give a reason for the hope that is within them, while Ephesians 4:29 encourages speaking the truth in love. Jesus' command in Mark 16:15 to "go into all the world and preach the gospel" is further empowered by the promise of Acts 1:8, where the Holy Spirit enables witnesses to testify about Jesus. By doing everything in the name of the Lord, as Colossians 3:17 instructs, believers can effectively share their faith and bring glory to God.

But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give a defense to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you. But respond with gentleness and respect,

I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, then to the Greek.
