10 Bible Verses on Being a Witness

10 verses

As followers of Christ, believers are called to share the good news of salvation with others. According to Matthew 5:16, this is done by letting their light shine before men, while Acts 1:8 emphasizes the importance of being witnesses for Jesus in the world. The apostle Peter instructs believers to be prepared to give a reason for their hope, as seen in 1 Peter 3:15, and the apostle Paul was commissioned by Jesus to be a witness to all people, as recorded in Acts 22:15. Ultimately, Isaiah 43:10 reminds believers that they are chosen to be witnesses for God, testifying to His greatness and glory.
