11 Bible Verses on Being Humble

11 verses

In God's eyes, humility is a highly valued trait, essential for a deep and meaningful relationship with Him. The Bible teaches that humility involves recognizing one's limitations and dependence on God, as seen in 2 Chronicles 7:14, where He promises to hear the humble and forgive their sins. James 4:6 and 4:10 emphasize the importance of humbling oneself before God, who gives grace to the humble. Additionally, Proverbs 11:2 and 1 Peter 5:6 remind us that humility is a key component of wisdom and a prerequisite for God's exaltation of His people.
