6 Bible Verses on Brave

6 verses

In the face of adversity, believers are called to stand firm, trusting in God's sovereignty and provision. Psalms 112:7 encourages the righteous to trust in God, unwavering in the face of evil news. The apostle Paul reminds us in Romans 8:28 that all things work together for good, and in Philippians 4:13, he affirms that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. As seen in Psalms 5:1-12, even in the midst of turmoil, we can confidently bring our prayers before God, knowing He hears and answers, and as 1 Thessalonians 5:21 teaches, we should test all things, holding fast to what is good.

He does not fear bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.
but test all things. Hold fast to what is good.
And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
Give ear to my words, O LORD; consider my groaning. Attend to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to You I pray. In the morning, O LORD, You hear my voice; at daybreak I lay my plea before You and wait in expectation. For You are not a God who delights in wickedness; no evil can dwell with You. The boastful cannot stand in Your presence; You hate all workers of iniquity. You destroy those who tell lies; the LORD abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit. But I will enter Your house by the abundance of Your loving devotion; in reverence I will bow down toward Your holy temple. Lead me, O LORD, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make straight Your way before me. For not a word they speak can be trusted; destruction lies within them. Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. Declare them guilty, O God; let them fall by their own devices. Drive them out for their many transgressions, for they have rebelled against You. But let all who take refuge in You rejoice; let them ever shout for joy. May You shelter them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You. For surely You, O LORD, bless the righteous; You surround them with the shield of Your favor.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
