8 Bible Verses on Children Going to Heaven

8 verses

The Bible offers comfort and assurance regarding the fate of children who pass away, with Jesus teaching that the kingdom of heaven belongs to those like them. In Matthew 19:14, Jesus welcomes children and blesses them, indicating their special place in God's heart. The Scriptures also suggest that children who have not reached an age of accountability, as hinted at in Deuteronomy 1:39, are under God's care and mercy. Through faith in Jesus, as expressed in John 5:24 and John 14:6, all people, including children, can have eternal life, a promise revealed through Revelation.

But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
And the little ones you said would become captives—your children who on that day did not know good from evil—will enter the land that I will give them, and they will possess it.
This is the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants what must soon come to pass. He made it known by sending His angel to His servant John,
Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
‘He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,’ and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away.”
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
