12 Bible Verses on Corruption

12 verses

Scripture teaches that humanity's rebellion against God leads to corruption, enslaving people to sinful desires and destructive patterns. The Apostle Peter warns that false teachers promise freedom, but actually bring people into bondage to corruption, as seen in 2 Peter 2:19. According to Galatians 6:8 and Romans 8:21, the consequences of sowing to the flesh will be corruption, while 2 Peter 1:4 offers the promise of escape from corruption through knowledge of God. Additionally, 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 exposes the corrupting influence of false apostles who masquerade as servants of righteousness.
