5 Bible Verses on Enjoyment

5 verses

In God's plan, people are meant to find joy and satisfaction in life's experiences. According to Ecclesiastes, eating, drinking, and working are all meant to be sources of enjoyment, as believers trust in God's goodness and sovereignty. Jeremiah reminds us that God's intentions for His people are for their prosperity and well-being, not just spiritual, but also physical and emotional. As Colossians teaches, doing everything in the name of the Lord Jesus brings fulfillment, and Galatians notes the inner conflict between flesh and spirit, yet promises the Spirit's enablement to live a life of joy and obedience.
