6 Bible Verses on Exaltation of Christ

6 verses

The resurrection and ascension of Jesus mark the beginning of His exaltation, where He is seated at the right hand of God. As Romans 8:34 and Hebrews 7:25 affirm, Christ now intercedes for believers, having been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Acts 2:33 and Philippians 2:9-11 describe the Father's exaltation of Jesus, giving Him a name above every name, so that every knee will bow and every tongue confess His lordship. This exaltation is also tied to His resurrection, as Romans 1:4 notes, demonstrating Jesus' power and divine nature.
