12 Bible Verses on Faith

12 verses

According to Scripture, a deep trust in God is essential for a strong relationship with Him. In Matthew and Mark, Jesus teaches that believing in God's power and goodness is necessary for effective prayer, as seen in the promise that "whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (Matthew 21:22, Mark 11:22-24). The book of Hebrews explains that without faith, it is impossible to please God, and defines faith as "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1, 6). The apostle Paul also emphasizes the importance of faith, noting in Romans that "faith comes from hearing the message" of God's Word.
