In times of financial struggle, believers can find comfort and strength in God's promises. According to Jeremiah 29:11, He has plans to prosper and give hope for the future, even in the midst of difficulty. Jesus Himself experienced suffering and prayed for God's will to be done, as seen in Luke 22:42, and later assured His disciples that they would face troubles, but could take heart in His victory, as stated in John 16:33. The apostle Paul encouraged the Philippians with the assurance that God would supply all their needs, as expressed in Philippians 4:19, and prayed for the Thessalonians to be delivered from those who would hinder their well-being, as written in 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3.

I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!”
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.
“Father, if You are willing, take this cup from Me. Yet not My will, but Yours be done.”
And my God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread quickly and be held in honor, just as it was with you. And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men; for not everyone holds to the faith. But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.
