9 Bible Verses on Foolishness

9 verses

Scripture warns that foolishness can lead individuals away from God and towards destructive paths. In Proverbs, wisdom is contrasted with foolishness, which begins with a rejection of the fear of the Lord, as stated in Proverbs 1:7. The Bible also teaches that the natural person cannot understand spiritual truths, as noted in 1 Corinthians 2:14, and that foolishness can be a hallmark of those who deny God's existence, as described in Psalms 14:1. Furthermore, James 1:26 and 1 Corinthians 1:18 highlight the importance of living wisely and recognizing the difference between worldly wisdom and God's wisdom.
