7 Bible Verses on Gaining Weight

7 verses

As believers strive to honor God with their bodies, they are reminded that outward appearance is not as important as inner character, for God looks at the heart, not outward appearance (1 Samuel 16:7). However, Christians are still called to be good stewards of their physical bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). In their daily struggles with temptation and self-control, believers can walk by the Spirit, as Galatians 5:16 teaches, and trust that God will not give them more than they can handle (1 Corinthians 10:13). With God's strength, they can do all things, including caring for their bodies in a way that glorifies Him (Philippians 4:13).

Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who does not control his temper.
Then I acknowledged my sin to You and did not hide my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah
