In the midst of a busy and often isolating world, the Bible teaches the importance of gathering together as believers. Jesus promises that where two or three come together in His name, He is present among them, as seen in Matthew 18:20. The book of Hebrews encourages believers to continue meeting together, stirring one another to love and good works, as emphasized in Hebrews 10:24-25. As believers gather, they are also called to let the word of Christ dwell in them, teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns, as noted in Colossians 3:16, and to use their gifts to edify the body, as outlined in 1 Corinthians 14:26.

Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together, everyone has a psalm or a teaching, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. All of these must be done to build up the church.
Therefore encourage and build one another up, just as you are already doing.
