9 Bible Verses on Helplessness

9 verses

In times of weakness and uncertainty, believers can find comfort in God's promise to assist and guide them. According to Romans, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us when we don't know how to pray, and in Mark, Jesus teaches that faith can move mountains, emphasizing the importance of trust in prayer. The book of Hebrews reminds us that Jesus understands our struggles, having faced temptation himself, and 1 Corinthians assures us that God will not give us more than we can handle. By trusting in God's sovereignty, as Proverbs encourages, we can find strength in our helplessness, knowing He is always with us.
