13 Bible Verses on Horror Movies

As believers seek to honor God in all aspects of life, they are called to consider the impact of entertainment on their minds and hearts. The Psalms caution against setting before one's eyes anything vile or worthless, instructing the faithful to turn away from such things. In Ephesians and Colossians, believers are exhorted to live in a way that reflects their heavenly citizenship, setting their minds on things above and putting to death earthly desires. By focusing on whatever is true, noble, and pure, as Philippians advises, Christians can cultivate a mindset that glorifies God, even in their choices of entertainment, and do everything to the glory of God, as 1 Corinthians teaches.

But now you must put aside all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to one another, since you have taken off the old self with its practices, and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God.

Guard your heart with all diligence, for from it flow springs of life.
The light of the eyes cheers the heart, and good news nourishes the bones.
Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
