14 Bible Verses on Ignorance

14 verses

Scripture often warns against the dangers of ignorance, which can lead people away from God's truth. In Ephesians, Paul notes that ignorance can harden hearts against the Lord, while Hosea lamented that God's people were destroyed for lack of knowledge. The Bible encourages wisdom and understanding, as seen in Proverbs, where it is written that the prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it. Ultimately, Acts reminds us that God calls all people to repentance, offering forgiveness to those who turn from ignorance to faith.
