As believers seek to align their lives with God's plan, they are called to present themselves as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to Him, and to be transformed by the renewing of their minds. The apostle Paul writes in Romans 12:2 that this transformation enables them to discern God's will, which is good, pleasing, and perfect. Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:33 to seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, promising that all other things will be added. Additionally, Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages trust in the Lord with all one's heart, and 1 Thessalonians 5:18 reminds believers to give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God's will for them.
