The Bible warns against engaging in practices that involve sorcery, divination, and other forms of occult activity. In Leviticus 19:31 and Exodus 22:18, God prohibits His people from consulting mediums and witches, while 2 Kings 21:6 condemns the wicked King Manasseh for practicing sorcery. The New Testament also cautions believers to test every spirit, as 1 John 4:1 advises, to avoid being deceived by false teachings or supernatural counterfeits. Ultimately, Revelation 21:8 declares that those who practice such evil will be excluded from eternal life with God.

You must be blameless before the LORD your God. Though these nations, which you will dispossess, listen to conjurers and diviners, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so.
You must not eat anything with blood still in it. You must not practice divination or sorcery.
