18 Bible Verses on Mission

18 verses

The call to spread the good news of salvation is a central theme throughout Scripture. As recorded in Acts, Jesus' final command to His disciples was to be witnesses to the ends of the earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit. In Matthew and Mark, Jesus commissions His followers to make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them. The psalmist's declaration in 1 Chronicles to declare God's glory among the nations is fulfilled in the missionary endeavors of the early church, as prophesied in Matthew, where the gospel will be preached to all nations before the end comes.
