8 Bible Verses on Molestation

8 verses

Scripture strongly condemns the exploitation and harm of vulnerable individuals, particularly children. Jesus teaches in Matthew 18:6 and Mark 9:42 that causing a child to stumble is a serious offense, and in Luke 17:2, He warns of severe consequences for those who do so. The book of Deuteronomy also addresses the protection of those who are vulnerable to abuse, as seen in Deuteronomy 22:25-27. Additionally, Galatians 5:19-21 lists immoral behaviors, including those that harm others, as works of the flesh that are contrary to God's will.

But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
Mark 9:42
But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea.
The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and sorcery; hatred, discord, jealousy, and rage; rivalries, divisions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
But if the man encounters a betrothed woman in the open country, and he overpowers her and lies with her, only the man who has done this must die. Do nothing to the young woman, because she has committed no sin worthy of death. This case is just like one in which a man attacks his neighbor and murders him. When he found her in the field, the betrothed woman cried out, but there was no one to save her.
It would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.
Put to death, therefore, the components of your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, and greed, which is idolatry.
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
If we deliberately go on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no further sacrifice for sins remains,
