5 Bible Verses on New Home

5 verses

In God's plan, believers look forward to a new home, one that is eternal and heavenly. According to Revelation, Jesus invites all to come and dine with Him, and those who respond will sit with Him on His throne, experiencing a profound sense of belonging and rest. As expressed in Psalms, a house or home is built by the Lord, and in 2 Corinthians, believers are declared new creations in Christ, with their true home being in heaven. This promise is rooted in the covenant blessings outlined in Deuteronomy and guided by the trust and obedience encouraged in Proverbs.

Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain; unless the LORD protects the city, its watchmen stand guard in vain.
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me. To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
“Now if you faithfully obey the voice of the LORD your God and are careful to follow all His commandments I am giving you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you, if you will obey the voice of the LORD your God: You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. The fruit of your womb will be blessed, as well as the produce of your land and the offspring of your livestock— the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. Your basket and kneading bowl will be blessed. You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
