14 Bible Verses on Procreation

14 verses

In the beginning, God blessed humanity with the command to be fruitful and multiply, establishing the sacred institution of marriage and the importance of raising a family. As seen in Genesis 1:28 and Genesis 9:7, God's design for human relationships includes the procreation of children, who are a heritage from the Lord, as stated in Psalms 127:3. The book of Hebrews also honors marriage, noting that it is to be held in honor among all people, as expressed in Hebrews 13:4. This biblical perspective emphasizes the value and responsibility of bringing new life into the world, reflecting God's creative and nurturing character.
