5 Bible Verses on Purging

5 verses

Through various purification processes, God refines and cleanses His people, removing impurities and imperfections. In Psalms 51:7, David cries out for cleansing, while Jesus teaches in John 15:2 that every branch that does not bear fruit is purged to increase its yield. The apostle Paul writes in 2 Timothy 2:21 that one must purify oneself to become a vessel for honorable use, and Ezekiel 20:38 describes God's judgment as a refining process. As 1 John 1:7 assures, walking in the light of Christ purifies believers from all sin.
