13 Bible Verses on Sexual Equality

13 verses

In God's design, men and women are created equal, as stated in Genesis 1:27, where both are made in His image. This equality is reaffirmed in Galatians 3:28, which declares that in Christ, there is no distinction between male and female. The apostle Paul also acknowledges the mutual dependence of men and women in 1 Corinthians 11:12, highlighting their interrelated roles. Additionally, the Bible promises that both men and women will prophesy and receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, as seen in Acts 2:17 and Psalms 68:11, demonstrating God's desire for their equal participation and empowerment.
