8 Bible Verses on Spirit Guides

8 verses

In the biblical context, guidance comes from the Holy Spirit, who leads believers into all truth, as Jesus promised in John 16:13. However, the Bible also warns against seeking guidance from spirits or mediums, as seen in Leviticus 19:31 and Leviticus 20:27, which prohibit such practices. Instead, believers are called to offer themselves as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, and to be transformed by the renewing of their minds, as taught in Romans 12:1-2. The inspiration of Scripture itself is attributed to the work of the Holy Spirit, as noted in 2 Peter 1:21, emphasizing the importance of relying on God's Word for guidance.
