Scripture emphasizes the importance of diligent study and spiritual growth. In 2 Timothy, the apostle Paul urges believers to be diligent workers who correctly handle the word of truth, and he affirms the value of all Scripture for teaching and equipping the faithful. As seen in Daniel 1:17, God grants understanding and insight to those who seek it, and 1 John 2:27 notes that the anointing of the Holy Spirit teaches believers about all things. Through ongoing study and a deepening relationship with God, believers can grow in knowledge and wisdom, as encouraged in 2 Peter 3:18.
