12 Bible Verses on Taking Advantage

12 verses

In the eyes of God, exploiting or taking unfair advantage of others is a serious offense. The prophet Amos condemn those who trample the poor and take advantage of them, while Jesus teaches His followers to treat others with kindness and respect, as they would like to be treated, in the Golden Rule found in Luke. The apostle Paul warns the Thessalonians not to wrong or take advantage of their brothers in any way, emphasizing the importance of integrity and fairness in all interactions. By living with love and integrity, as encouraged in 1 John, believers demonstrate their commitment to God's standards of justice and compassion.
