As believers, we are called to spiritual awakeness, being mindful of our walk with God and our surroundings. In Ephesians, we are commanded to "wake up" and rise from our slumber, seeking to live in the light of Christ. Isaiah urges us to arise and shine, for the glory of the Lord has risen upon us, while in 1 Thessalonians, we are encouraged to pray continually, staying alert and watchful. The Gospels also emphasize the importance of being awake, as seen in Jesus' post-resurrection appearances, such as in Luke, where He suddenly appears among His disciples, reminding them to stay vigilant and focused on their faith.
