Worrell

1 And He spake a parable to them, to the end that they ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2 saying, 5 persistent coming, she wear me out.’"} 6 And the Lord said, 9 And He spake also this parable to some who had trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised the rest: 15 And they were bringing to Him their babes, also, that He might touch them; but the disciples, seeing it, were rebuking them. 16 But Jesus called them to , saying, 18 And a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, doing what shall I inherit eternal life?" 19 And Jesus said to him, 21 And he said, “All these I observed from my youth." 22 And Jesus, hearing said to him, 23 And, when he heard these things, he became very sorrowful; for he was exceedingly rich. 24 And Jesus, seeing him, said, 26 And those hearing said, “And who can be saved?" 27 But He said, 28 And Peter said, “Behold, having left our possessions, we followed Thee." 29 And He said to them, 31 And, taking the twelve aside, He said to them, 34 And they understood none of these things; and this saying was hidden from them, and they were not understanding the things being said. 35 And it came to pass, when He was drawing near to Jericho, that a certain blind man was sitting by the wayside, begging. 36 And, hearing a multitude passing along, he was inquiring what this might be. 37 And they told him, that Jesus the Nazarene was passing by. 38 And he cried, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" 39 And those going before were rebuking him, that he should be silent; but he kept crying out much more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!" 40 And Jesus, standing still, commanded that he be brought to Him; and, when he drew near, He asked him, 41 And he said, “Lord, that I may receive sight." 42 And Jesus said to him, 43 And instantly he received sight, and was following Him, glorifying God. And all the people, seeing , gave praise to God.
