24When the men of Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness, they looked for the vast army, but there were only corpses lying on the ground; no one had escaped. 25Then Jehoshaphat and his people went to carry off the plunder, and they found on the bodies an abundance of goods and valuables —more than they could carry away. 2 Chronicles 20:23 Summary
This verse shows how God can use the enemies of His people to defeat each other, just like He did when the Ammonites and Moabites turned against the inhabitants of Mount Seir. It's a powerful reminder that God is sovereign over all things and will fight for those who trust in Him, as seen in Exodus 14:14. When we put our trust in God, we can have confidence that He will deliver us, just like He did for Judah in this story. By trusting in God's power and promises, we can give Him thanks and praise for His loving devotion, which endures forever (Psalm 107:1).
