15Under his authority, Eden, Miniamin, Jeshua, Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah faithfully distributed portions to their fellow priests in their cities, according to their divisions, old and young alike.
16In addition, they distributed portions to the males registered by genealogy who were three years of age or older—to all who would enter the house of the LORD for their daily duties for service in the responsibilities of their divisions— 17and to the priests enrolled according to their families in the genealogy, as well as to the Levites twenty years of age or older, according to their responsibilities and divisions.Cross References

| 1 | Joshua 21:9–19 | From the tribes of Judah and Simeon, they designated these cities by name to the descendants of Aaron from the Kohathite clans of the Levites, because the first lot fell to them: They gave them Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), with its surrounding pasturelands, in the hill country of Judah. (Arba was the father of Anak.) But they had given the fields and villages around the city to Caleb son of Jephunneh as his possession. So to the descendants of Aaron the priest they gave these cities, together with their pasturelands: Hebron, a city of refuge for the manslayer, Libnah, Jattir, Eshtemoa, Holon, Debir, Ain, Juttah, and Beth-shemesh—nine cities from these two tribes, together with their pasturelands. And from the tribe of Benjamin they gave them Gibeon, Geba, Anathoth, and Almon—four cities, together with their pasturelands. In all, thirteen cities, together with their pasturelands, were given to the priests, the descendants of Aaron. |

2 Chronicles 31:15 Summary
This verse shows how some faithful priests, including Eden, Miniamin, Jeshua, Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah, made sure that all their fellow priests received the portions they needed, regardless of age. This demonstrates the importance of caring for one another and working together in unity, as seen in Psalm 133:1 and Ephesians 4:3. By following their example, we can learn to prioritize serving and caring for others, and to strive for unity and cooperation within our own communities. This can be as simple as checking in on a neighbor or offering to help a friend in need, and is reminiscent of the teachings of Galatians 5:13 and Hebrews 10:24.
