Context — The Duties of the Priests
18They are to wear linen turbans on their heads and linen undergarments around their waists. They must not wear anything that makes them perspire.
19When they go out to the outer court, to the people, they are to take off the garments in which they have ministered, leave them in the holy chambers, and dress in other clothes so that they do not transmit holiness to the people with their garments. 20They must not shave their heads or let their hair grow long, but must carefully trim their hair.Cross References

And if it is shameful for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head. A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. For man did not come from woman, but woman from man. Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. For this reason a woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head, because of the angels. |

Make linen undergarments to cover their bare flesh, extending from waist to thigh. Aaron and his sons must wear them whenever they enter the Tent of Meeting or approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they will not incur guilt and die. This is to be a permanent statute for Aaron and his descendants. |
Ezekiel 44:18 Summary
In Ezekiel 44:18, God instructs the priests to wear linen turbans and undergarments to stay clean and pure as they serve Him. This shows us that God cares about the details of our lives and wants us to be mindful of our actions and behaviors as we serve Him (1 Corinthians 11:1). By wearing the right clothes, the priests could focus on their important work of ministering to God without being distracted by things that might make them unclean. This reminds us to prioritize our own purity and reverence in our relationship with God, just like the priests did (Matthew 5:48).
