Genesis 15:7 Summary
In this verse, God reminds Abram of how He brought him out of his old life in Ur of the Chaldeans and into a new life in Canaan, in order to give him the land as a promise. This is a reminder to Abram, and to us, that God is a faithful and powerful God who always keeps His promises (as seen in Genesis 12:7 and Exodus 2:24-25). Just like Abram, we can trust God to guide us and provide for us, even when the future seems uncertain. By remembering God's past faithfulness, we can have confidence in His promises for our lives, just like Abram did in Romans 4:20-22.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does it mean that the LORD brought Abram out of Ur of the Chaldeans?

Why did God remind Abram of His past actions in this verse?
