Flowers from a Puritan's Garden

Spurgeon

Spurgeon's 1883 collection of meditations drawn from the metaphors and illustrations found throughout the twenty-two volumes of Thomas Manton's works. Spurgeon culled the best figures from Manton's sermons and composed brief devotional reflections around them, presenting Puritan wisdom in an accessible and edifying form for private worship.
