Like a faithful watchman at his post the prophet waits further instructions from the Lord, that he might know what answer to make to those who had rebelled and contended against bis former predictions.

“Let Zion’s watchmen all awake, And take th’ alarm they give;

Now let them from the mouth of God, Their awful charge receive.”
